1:1 Learning Support Assistant**

**£65-£75 per day**

**Cardiff, Fairwater**

A young KS1 SEN child in the Fairwater area is waiting for a brilliant LSA to make their educational life the best it can possibly be.

An 'Outstanding' rated Primary School is looking for someone to be not just a caring guide but also a friend and companion to a child in Fairwater. Does this sound like the perfect role for you? If so please APPLY!

The ideal candidate will:

*Have GCSE's in Maths and English (A*-C)

*Have an in date DBS.

*Be numerically and grammatically literate.

*Have experience and training working with SEN, preferably experience/training working with ADHD and autism.

* Be able to communicate to a variety of audiences and be able to help pupils in their understanding of the curriculum/any other additional needs.

*Be compassionate and caring, and be able to take your time and stay patient when addressing students concerns and issues.

*Have experience working 1:1 in Key Stage 1 / in a classroom setting. (Desirable)

*Be able to build rapport and relationships with young children, creating a safe space for them.

*Be determined and resilient with a real want to see the best for this child.

*Have a willingness to help the teacher with their lessons and their classroom.

What to expect from Academics

Salary of between £65 and £75 per day
Full compliance with Agency Worker Regulation (AWR)
