We are currently looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant to join a lovely Secondary School based in the Cardiff area working in their Behaviour unit, so experience dealing with Challenging Behaviours is essential to the role.

The right Teaching Assistant will be patient, nurturing and kind as well as having a top quality ability to deal with challenges faced in the classroom. As the role is within a Secondary school the right candidate will have brilliant classroom management but be also not be afraid to have fun and get involved with activities!

You will be working closely with pupils with ASD and ADHD as well as more complex needs. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding and fulfilling role within education, experience with SEN is desirable but not essential.

It is a part time role Monday – Friday, starting in as soon as possible with the possibility of going full time for the right Teaching Assistant.

Key skills and competencies for the role:

• A  Teaching Assistant Qualification and/or 6 months experience working with children or as a support worker.

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
