Our client is based in Bridgend and are currently looking for an experienced and driven Commercial Manager to join their team and assist with the drive and develop of the customer base whilst ensuring a high level of quality offering to current regular customers. This is a truly exciting opportunity to join the team where you will have full autonomy to build your own profile.

Our client offers a local service throughout Wales delivering high level finished products to various projects from small, bespoke personal projects through to large multi-tonne high volume contracts. We also have a flexible and responsive transport operation supports a team that understands the need for fast and consistent, quality assured hot dip galvanizing.

You will be joining our current sales team, working alongside them to ensure the constant company progression and to assist with the development of our junior staff members and ensure that they are given , whilst also working alongside our customer service team to ensure a high level of service and quality that matches our company standards and promises

Main responsibilities include:

* Assisting to develop and drive the existing team and ensure that all KPI's are being met

* Offering training and support to any colleagues to ensure that all of the team are striving towards the same goal

* Source new sales opportunities through relevant channels including, web search, emails, social media and lost account analysis.

* Research accounts, identify key players to.

* Telephone potential accounts to develop new opportunities.

* Follow up quotes by telephone.

* Report to Management on sales growth opportunities and hit rates.

* Working within a small office environment to cover administrative roles as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience within an internal sales environment.

* Excellent communication skills including the ability to make cold calls to generate new clients.

* Good written and oral communications skills.

* Ability to demonstrate strong commitment to sales success.

* Must be goal and result driven.

* Experience in similar environment desired but not essential
