We have been supporting people in Wales for over 35 years and currently support over 350 people in ten different local authority areas.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support & Autism Worker to join our dedicated team based in Cwmfelinfach. In this pivotal role you will assist and encourage individuals to become integrated members of their local community, promoting physical and social participation. For this role you must have a full UK driving license.
What will you be doing?
You will develop, implement, and review individual Person-Centred
You will deliver and review Positive Behaviour Supportand Active Support Plans, to enable the individuals you support to lead an independent
You willactivelyencourage their family, friends and circles of support to be involved in their life and provide informal support
You will provide support with a range of tasks which may include household and domestic tasks, shopping, diet/food preparation, personal care, personal hygiene, dressing and personal appearance.
You will work alongside other professionals such as psychologists, care managers, community nurses, positive behaviour practitioners, and occupational therapists to deliver high quality support.
