The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller / Accounts Administrator is chiefly responsible for managing the credit control function within the organisation, as well as generalist accounts administration. Admin responsibilities include sales and purchase ledger, banking reconciliation, invoicing, posting of credit card and employee expenses, as well as other generalist responsibilities to support the finance and accounts function.

Responsibilities:

* Recovering debt as per set company targets

* Maintenance of Debtor ledgers

* Debtor Reporting and analysis

* Administration of Sales ledger – Creating, processing ,issuing sales invoices and statements

* Administration of the Invoice Discounting Process

* Providing support with query /dispute resolution

* Bank reconciliations, payments ,credit card, ecommerce, payments and receipts

* Expense claim management

* Administration of the company insurance policies and procedures.

* Assisting in the month end and statutory accounting process

* Any other duties as requested by Finance Manager and Head of Finance

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

* Previous experience of credit control essential

* Excellent organisation skills

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Excellent IT skills

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal

* Planning and prioritisation of workload to meet deadlines

* Able to work methodically with good attention to detail

* Logical approach to problem solving

* Self motivated, with a practical, “can-do” approach

* Good general office administration skills

* Good Excel skills and ideally Sage L50 skills
