Established since 1979, Floodlight and Electrical have installed and maintained floodlighting and lighting solutions for sporting organisations across all sports and all over the UK.

We work closely with major sports stadia and multi-use games areas (MUGA) as well as governing bodies, sporting clubs, universities, schools, leisure centres, and councils. We are also the seasonal lead in
Christmas lights across Wales.

All you need is at least 5 years’ experience, have an electrical qualification and a motivated attitude.

The role
As an Electrician, you will work within a 2-4 man team, working on our exciting floodlighting projects.

We are looking for someone who has experience in analysis work including fault finding and problem solving, improvement and maintenance work whilst working with high standards of Health and Safety awareness.

You will need to have NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, or have completed an Electrical apprenticeship with time served, along with an ECS Card, Gold or Black preferred.

If you have a C&G 2391, BS 7671 18th Edition and/or IPAF qualified then this will be an advantage but isn’t essential, as if you are the right candidate, we will invest in your development.

Floodlighting and Electrical are well established in Wales but have now implemented our ambitious growth plans in England. Other key duties will include but not limited to;

Upgrading sporting venues to new LED floodlighting
Installing new flood lighting systems from masts to floodlights
Attending the HQ to prepare the key items for the project, collecting equipment and tools needed, then travelling to client sites – so you will require a full UK driving license

What you will get in return
You will earn an hourly rate of £15 – £17 per hour, depending on experience.
You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week plus overtime.
Other benefits include annual bonus alongside company performance, time and a half paid overtime, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, auto enrolment in to the government pension scheme and company vehicle.
