A new opportunity as a GraduateTeaching Assistant role has become available at a welcoming primary school in the CF14 are of Cardiff. The schools Governors have granted the head extra funding following a recent resources meeting. This Teaching Assistant role will be supporting Special Educational Needs across the school and providing general classroom support for the teachers.

This position is full-time, and they are looking for the right Teaching Assistant to start after the Easter break. Experience with young people or Special Educational Needs is desirable, whether professional or personal experience.

To be eligible for this role:

You must be thoughtful and friendly
Enjoy working with young children and confident working with SEN
You will need to have a child workforce only DBS. If you do not currently have one of these, we can help you apply for this
You will need to be reliable and punctual – working Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30
You must be engaging and encouraging, promoting wellbeing and learning
Prepared to register with the EWC

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
