Pensions Relationship Manager

Due to growth my client, a household name in the financial services sector, currently seek a talented relationship manager to join their successful and growing Pension division. Duties will include:

* Development and implementation of relationship strategy for both existing and new clients.

* Managing relationships with key Employee Benefit Consultancies and intermediaries.

* Handling queries raised fro EBC's and Trustees regarding pension scheme management.

* Ensuring that the Operations team provide a consistently high level of service and meet pre-determined client requirements and targets.

* Visit clients on a regular basis to maintain and build strong relationships and communication channels.

* Present at client / industry events.

* Use scheme data for root cause analysis to identify areas of strength and weakness so that mitigating action can be taken prior to and issues escalating.

* Use of scheme / service data to pro-actively seek opportunities for process and procedural improvements.

* Ensure that all stakeholders / teams are aware of material changes that affect how schemes are run.

* Keep abreast of developments in UK Pensions legislation and innovation.

Applicants are likely to come from the Pension industry although applications from the wider financial services / relationship management sector will be considered if you can demonstrate a strong track record of successfully managing significant client relationships. A friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities is key along with the ability to overcome client / service issues in a diplomatic and pro-active fashion. Strong communication skills are imperative along with the ability to use data to identify successes and failings and implement positive change.
