This is a really exciting purchase ledger role. You will process around 200 invoices a month across a variety of different countries which means you have to be on top of different VAT rules. You will reconcile supplier statement and support the finance manager with month end procedures. So if your curious and have a high attention to detail this is the job for you.

Client Details

The client is a large manufacture close to Cwmbran. They are based close to the M4 and they also have free parking on site. The site is also easily accessible from Newport, Merthyr and Gwent Valleys. You will part of small, close knit and fun finance team.

Description

As a Accounts Assistant you would be:

Matching PO's
Paying Suppliers
Answering any queries from Suppliers
Reconciling Supplier Statements
VAT CalculationsProfile

The successful candidate for the Purchase Ledger role will:

Have worked on the Purchase Ledger previously
Ideally have worked with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Sage
Have manufacturing, construction or high volume invoicing experience
Be available on short noticeJob Offer

The ideal candidate will be offered:

£24,000-£28,000 per annum
Plus Holiday and Pension
Be Based near Cwmbran
Additional benefits including company performance bonus
