Purchasing Assistant – Part Time

We are currently recruiting for a part time Purchasing Assistant to work in a busy office in the Chepstow area.

This is a permanent position with flexible part time hours (to be agreed with the right candidate), working 5 days per week – Monday to Friday. Salary depending on experience.

Previous experience in a purchasing role is desirable. Ideal candidate will be highly accurate, organised, be a team player and have a personable telephone manner. IT literature with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.

Duties Include;

Placing orders with Suppliers and liaising with them for updates and timely deliveries
Working with the sales department to provide updates on deliveries
Updating supplier records
Updating price lists for suppliers
Other ad-hoc duties and assisting other departments will be required from time to timeIf you have the relevant experience and skill set, please apply online.
