*Our customer is based in Cardiff and currently operates a hybrid working solution, with their team members working from the office 1-2 day per week. We'd be happy to consider a variety of solutions for this opportunity and so would be keen to hear what might work well for you.
*lead the team in designing and developing new software solutions, to meet the strategic initiatives of the business.
*ensure all development work complies with their quality standards and best practices.
*ensure the application of secure development techniques.
*learn existing systems and lead the team in locating and repairing problems, or decommissioning of legacy systems where appropriate.
*carry out peer code reviews as required.
*work cooperatively as part of a team, within their architectural, operational, technical and business frameworks.
*proven software development track record covering the full development life cycle.
*experience of managing both Agile and Waterfall project cycles.
*have a degree in a Computing / Technical discipline, or commensurate commercial experience.
*experience of working on web applications and back-end systems.
*experience with development of Microservices.
*experience of working in an API-driven environment.
*experience using version control systems, including Git / GitHub.
*experience of developing and deploying containerised applications in Azure.
Any of the following could also prove useful when joining the team:
*have come knowledge of Financial Services or an eCommerce background.
*experience of Angular / Vue / React, or a similar framework
*experience of C#, .NET Core, MSSQL.
*have experience with ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, Delphi, MVC, NoSQL, T-SQL, Sybase.
