An exciting gift business is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to help them remain the number 1 retailer within the organic search space across all their international territories. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role has a significant impact on the overall online business and is responsible for delivery of over 60%+ of traffic. Focusing on quality traffic – high conversion strategies by providing & optimising content across their websites, blog, social channels, which will also aid their PPC, email and partnerships campaigns, whilst adhering to best practice SEO optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

In-depth ongoing review of current SEO position on key KWs, assess websites’ content and regular audits of sites and competitor analysis using tools such as Google Analytics and 3rd party rank-monitoring tools (eg, SEMrush, Majestic SEO, Ahrefs etc)
Unique content creation (eg, blog articles) for use in SEO campaigns
Support internal teams with SEO recommendations based on data and insight
Manage and take responsibility for the delivery of SEO initiatives and projects whilst gaining buy-in from business stakeholders.
Continuous data analysis, optimisation and reporting of SEO campaigns
Align with internal & external teams to ensure paid and organic campaigns are working together
Skills & experience

At least 3-4 years hands-on experience gained from in-house ecommerce SEO positions
Excellent understanding of Digital Marketing
Specialist knowledge of search engine crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms
Experience in using web analytics software including Google Analytics & SEO intelligence tools
A strong understanding of the key metrics that are used for campaign optimisation
Analytical and data driven approach, using data to drive campaign performance
Excellent working knowledge in Microsoft Office
Commercial acumen & focus
Experience working in a fast growth start-up environment (advantageous)
Driven and determined individual
Strategic thinking
Managing projects, working to tight deadlines and budgets
LOCATION

Cardiff based, but can be worked on a remote basis

To £35,000
