mirus is a charity that supports over 350 people every day to achieve the their personal goals and live their life to the full.  We work across South and Mid Wales, employs 750 staff and provide a range of service, including supported living, community support, respite and short breaks.

We are looking for a Service Set Up & Development Manager to cover a period of 12 months, due to the existing post holder having secured an internal promotion secondment opportunity.

The Service Set Up & Development Manager plays a significant role in developing our reputation as a creative, asset based and innovative support provider.   As the Service Set Up & Development Manager you will;

Take a leading role in the set-up and development of new services, in line with our support practice, quality assurance and regulatory frameworks.

Support the ongoing development and improvement of support services in line with our strategic aims, quality standards and practice development initiatives.

Working across the breadth of our support services, you will work with Area Managers, Managers and Support Teams to lead specific projects and objectives allocated to the role.  As part of the role, you will also develop positive working relationships with people we support, families, commissioners and external partners.

We are looking for someone who shares our values, has demonstrable experience in leading and developing support services and improvements and has the ability to work together with a range of people to achieve positive outcomes.
