An experienced Social Media Manager is required to join an exciting eCommerce business where you will be working on multi-site, multi-country paid social campaigns, as well as coordinating organic social, establishing the tools, systems, processes and approach that will maximise the campaigns’ potential in terms of efficient customer acquisition & conversion.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the successful Social Media Manager will have experience of successfully managing paid social campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for managing and developing paid social activity
Responsible for a 5-figure monthly ad spend budget with clear ROAS targets
Design, plan and build out best in class paid social campaigns
Align with internal teams to ensure paid and organic campaigns are working together
Manage and make recommendations on the automation, tracking, and tools that are used to manage and optimise campaigns
Collaborate with the design team to develop and optimise campaign creative which is engaging and on brand
Continuous data analysis, optimisation and reporting of campaigns

Demonstrable paid social (Facebook/Instagram/etc) advertising expertise and understanding, either agency or client-side
2-4 years’ experience managing paid & organic social campaigns
A strong opinion and principles on how you maximise the potential of paid social Ads
A strong understanding of the key metrics that are used for campaign optimisation
Analytical and data driven approach, using data to drive campaign performance
You will be able to set the strategy for campaigns aligning with the relevant audience types
Excellent working knowledge in Google Analytics & Microsoft Excel
Passion for innovation and emerging technologies
Good working knowledge of Hootsuite/Buffer/similar platforms
Commercial acumen & focus
Experience working in a fast growth start-up environment (advantageous)
Driven and determined individual
Strategic thinking
Solid commercial awareness
Managing projects, working to tight deadlines and budgets

Foreign languages a plus: French, Italian, Spanish, German

Cardiff based, but can be worked on a remote basis
