Position Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students across Key Stages 2. Your proactive approach and excellent interpersonal skills will contribute to a positive classroom experience.

Qualities We Seek:

We are looking for applicants who embody the following qualities:

Friendly and Positive Attitude: Your approach should be upbeat, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Hands-On Approach: You are always ready to assist the class teacher and actively engage with students.
Experience in Supporting EAL Pupils: While not essential, previous experience with English as an Additional Language (EAL) students is a plus.
Experience with ASD: Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an educational setting is highly valued.
Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication with both students and colleagues is key.

Requirements:

The successful Teaching Assistant must meet the following requirements:

Enhanced DBS: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required, and we can assist with the application process.
EWC Registration: You should be registered with the Education Workforce Council.
Professional References: Provide two professional references.
Right to Work in the UK: Ensure you have the legal right to work in the UK.
